Rio-Tayar, Sleep High, PSF post wins in Perfetto Basketball

Former ISA MVP Lober Batioco struck again as Rio-Tayar Aces came back from behind to socre their first win against sister team Al-Tayar 72-68 in the 2012 Perfetto Basketball Tournament organized by Industrial Sports Association (ISA) at the Industrial City Dawah Office (ICDO) court in Industrial City Phase I on the outskirts of Jeddah.
Best Player Batioco fired 21 points including the last two threes with less than a minute to play in the final quarter.
Al-Tayar looked headed to victory when it led after three quarters but Batioco proved the big difference for the Aces.
Batioco gave the Aces a hairline lead then Osmena supplied the defensive stop on the other end, setting up Batioco for a three to finally put away Tayar.
Osmena scored 12 points in support of Batioco and he stood out in the shaded area neutralizing Aquino who scored 12 points for Tayar, while Sandoval added 17 and Diso 18.
Gemino outplayed his opponents to score 19 points on the way to winning best player honors and aloang with Kanti and Bautista helped Sleep High to an 87-70 triumph over Tawzea Water.
Gemino dominated the final quarter, scoring 12 points with Kanti adding 10 in the period while Bautista finished with 13 points and Mohamad with 14 points.
PSF, bannered by Best Player Morada, who had a career-high 21 points, Almin (12 points) and big men Bona and Tejada, with a combined 20 points, brought down Almutlak 77-68.
Finetool defeated BRC 51-45 and the Best Player of the game was Baruga with 14 points. Al-Tayar 2 defeated Jamjoom 89-79 with Delfin the Best Player with 26 points.
Supreme Foods murdered Al-Musrepa 89-58. Jay Razal with 25 points was named Best Plyaer.
